I have just spent the last hour writing the worst two opening sentences for my novel. Ever. Needless to say, I am going to work on them tonight because although Nanowrimo doesn't say that a person's novel has to be good I would like to think mine wouldn't want to make anyone vomit.
Perhaps I am over-thinking the situation. I mean, I like to write for fun and just type out what comes to mind but now that there's meaning behind it I can't seem to get motivated.
I'm a little tired of chick-lit at the moment and I want to write something that is set apart from the other stories. What about a story about a gang of mutant vampire monkeys that terrorize a small Idaho town?
Meh, I'll think about it.
